Just a few hundred yards from this sign Wellfleet wants to build a 225 apartment Mega Monstrosity and they want Eastham to supply the water for it. Not just for five or ten years but forever. This is a ridiculously large amount of water that they are asking us to give them every day all year long forever. We get the same amount of rain fall as Wellfleet so why should we be the ones to supply that much water for about 1,000 people that don't live in our town. Let Wellfleet supply their own water. With clement change water my become a big factor in the coming years and we may need that water for ourselves not to send it to Wellfleet. This is not our problem it is Wellfleet's problem and we should not get involved. If Wellfleet wants to destroy their town let them use their own water. This whole thing is about a few investors getting filthy rich. And if a town official tells you this is a good idea ask them how much they are getting from the investors.
