This idyllic beach home is the ultimate in serenity and tranquility, but is close to the bars, restaurants and shopping in downtown Oak Bluffs and Edgartown.
The house is a prime example of New England shingle-clad coastal architecture. Inside, it's a charming space, with light flooding in through windows overlooking the ocean. Wood floors and a whitewashed color scheme give it a hint of seaside chic, with comfortable furniture and colorful accents and artwork.
There’s a private yard for eating outdoors on warm summer days, and a fire pit to sit around in the cooler evening air. Tie up your boat at the private dock, and use the kayaks and stand-up paddle boards for fun on the water.
You'll be staying across the street from Noman's - just a mile from downtown Oak Bluffs and four miles to downtown Edgartown. Take the bike path one mile to Oak Bluffs, you will find lots to do between the famous Flying Horses, MVCMA gingerbread cottages, Ocean Park, Back Door Donuts, the bowling alley, the Arts District and the game room. In the other direction on the bike path, you will go past the Jaws Bridge, and into Edgartown with its captains house, the Old Whaling Church, art galleries and shopping.
Back at the house, the large living room has a stone fireplace, the eat-in kitchen has an island with seating for 6, the dining room seats twelve of your friends and family, and the six bedrooms and a sleeping porch allow for many guests. There are four enclosed porches, two on the first floor, and two on the second floor. A large private yard provides plenty of space for outdoor activities. The house is a member of the Harthaven Association, which allows use of the association's private beach, harbor, and tennis court. Central A/C and heat will keep you comfortable in all types of New England weather.

Our Unit is a Non Smoking, & Pet prohibited (for both renters and guests of renters). We have (3) Levels, (5) Bed Rms, (3 1/2) Baths, Free WIFI, 1,812 sqft. Rates are subject to change, Holiday times slightly higher.
GROUND FLOOR:
As you enter from our ground floor entry, you will find a large family room for your enjoyment, with two recliner couches and a "DIRECTV NETWORK" 55" flat screen TV and a DVD Player. Plus a 6' combo game table, Pool, Air Hockey, Ping Pong, & Finger Basketball. Also a sleeping area with two sets of bunk beds, As well as an extra Refrigerator and a half bath, for your convenience.
FIRST FLOOR:
On the first floor you will enter into a large open kitchen area. The kitchen is fully equipped with all the necessary utensils and appliances you would need for all your cooking and entertainment requirements. From the kitchen you will enter a large open concept dining and living room area. The dining area has a 10' country style dining table that comfortably sits 12. The living room area has 2 recliner couches viewing a "DIRECTV" NETWORK 55' HD flat Screen TV & a DVD Player. As well as a Stone encased Gas Fireplace for your pleasure. The first floor also has a full sized bedroom with a Queen Bed. + Large closet.
From the Kitchen / Dining area you can also enter a large country porch with fully vaulted ceiling, exposed beams and shaker siding accent wall. It also has both a front and back deck area.
The first floor also has a full bath (tub & shower combo) and an extra dryer.
SECOND FLOOR:
The second Floor has (4) full sized bedrooms, and (2) bathrooms, (1) with a Washer Dryer Combo Unit.
Bedroom (1) has (2) Queen Beds + Large closet, Ceiling fan + Complete room temp control A/C & Heat

PROPERTY GROUNDS:
Our Rental sits on (1) acre of land, and we have views of the Lake from all the three floors as well as the porch.
We supply a gas grill, 6' picnic table + several outside sitting chairs, Fire Pit.
We are only a (5-minute walk) to the Waukewan, town beach & 1.25 miles to Meredith Town Docks, as well as many restaurants, shops, sights and the Hotels of The Inns at Mills Falls, We are only a short drive to many local attractions, IE: Weirs Beach, Gunstock Mtn.
