We have a new washer and dryer, dishwasher, gas water heater and economical natural gas heat. There is a large screened/glassed porch with skylights plus a large open deck which is great for hanging bird feeders. There is a wood burning fireplace in the living/dining room for cozy winter evenings. The house is on a private dead-end road so there is no traffic noise and we are a 3 minute stroll to beautiful sunsets on the bay. The beach is a lovely pristine place, wonderful for winter walks. The deck, porch and kitchen overlook the marsh, which is conservation land so your closest neighbors are all the way across the marsh. There are cardinals and chickadees to feed all winter, and if you enjoy wildlife, you will see glimpses of deer, coyotes, foxes and an occasional woodchuck. The chipmunks and chickadees will eat from your hand if you are patient. Imagine standing at the kitchen sink and looking out over your deck with bird feeders and the marsh.
The rent is $2000/mo with first, last and $700 security. Our rent is low so we can find just the right responsible people who will love and care for our house all winter. Wifi is included but not utilities and firewood. The house is fully furnished with dishes, pots and pans and even sheets and towels if you would like us to leave them out for you.
