This is a Sportube Series 3 hard-sided wheeled expandable travel case for skis and snowboards. It is designed to protect your gear during air travel, train travel, or shipping via carriers like FedEx/UPS. It is also can be attached to most car roof racks. It can hold various combinations of equipment, such as up to three pairs of skis and poles, or two snowboards with bindings and boots. The case is made from high-density polyethylene. The internal length is adjustable to fit gear from 42 to 72 inches (107 to 183 cm) long, with an internal width of 14.5 inches (368 mm) and depth of approximately 7.9 inches (200 mm). It includes two stainless steel lock pins and a handle. You can use a TSA lock if desired (the holes are 3/16 inch. This handle is not original but works well enough (put a loop of cord through the hole then insert the handle through the loop). Better than a canvas bag. This Sportube saw lots of use, and it has wear and scuffs, but they are fairly indestructible, and you'll get lots of use from it.
