For sale as a pair: Two beautiful large wooden model J-Class yachts — Ranger (1937, J5) and Rainbow (1934, J4). These are high-quality display models (Authentic Models or very similar) with wooden hulls, detailed rigging, cotton sails, and nice brass/metal plaques.
They look great on a shelf, mantel, or in a home office/nautical-themed room. Both stand on their own black wooden bases.
Condition notes:
Overall good shape for used display models.
One has some damaged/broken rigging rope (visible in photos — a few lines are frayed or loose).
Sails have typical light wrinkling/age from display.
No major damage, no missing parts other than the noted rigging.
These originally retail for $300–$450 each. Selling both together as a lot for quick sale.
