Looking to start a country/folk acoustic Band with a punk twist (Centerville)

I'm writing this to see if there is any interest. I'm a guitar player that does mostly originals. I'm hoping to find a bass player who plays stand up bass and a drummer who is willing to play only a snare drum (brushes and sticks)

I want to play classic 50's/60's country and folk style but play it very fast. Imagine The Ramones singing Johnny Cash. Or Minor Threat playing Bob Dylan. Pogue's singing Elvis.

It would be a mix of 80% original songs I wrote, and the rest reworked classics into our new format. I want to play live and even busk on the street. However, Cape Cod is only for straight cover bands so I'm assuming we'd focus our energies off cape maybe Boston and Providence for shows...who knows.

I'm in my late 40's. I don't care about age or sex, fancy gear or anything like that as long as you are open minded, enjoy being innovative and don't get bogged down with tradition and standards... and can play fast.

We would need to practice once a week at least to build up a set. I'd like to start busking or getting gigs this summer.

I want to call us Johnny Skullfucker and The Skulls but we can discuss that at our first practice.
