This is a vintage early 1990s model all-solid wood guitar in pristine condition. The LA-8 is a unique model with reduced LL proportions, making it distinct from other models in the L series. The "L" signifies a full-sized Jumbo model; however the reduced body depth makes this a little more compact and easier to hold. The "A" stands for Acoustic Resonance Enhancement, a process that Yamaha used to improve the tone of the wood. It features a clean and refined tone. The top is made of spruce, sides and back are African rosewood, and the neck is mahogany. This guitar is in excellent condition, with seldom use, mostly in storage during its life. A hard case, in excellent condition, is included as well as picks, strap, capos (soft & hard) and a chromatic tuner.
