For Sale, 1990 Gibson Hummingbird, made in Bozeman, Mt., very good condition although some minor blemishes considering a 35y/o guitar. (see pics). I am the original owner, purchased at Luka Music in N. Providence 11/1990. Heritage Cherry finish, back and sides. Natural top spruce top, Mahogany back, neck and sides. Ebony fret board. Classic green tuners. Original Hummingbird thick pick guard. Non smoking house. Gibson hardshell case. I originally had added a Fishman Matrix pickup, however pickup died about 5 years ago and I removed it but did not replace. So the end pin is bored out and also a spot in the bridge for the transducer for your choice of pickup. Asking $2299. Cash. Please check eBay and Reverb to compare prices. BTW, GC and Sweetwater sells “Original” new at $3999- a couple hundred for the pickup. Gibson also now sells the “Studio” and “Special” much less, but not the same as the Original or earlier Hummingbirds which this is for $2200-2800. Cash only. Local public delivery. Would consider onsite examination.
