I am looking to build a small, high-end, freestanding timber-frame entryway canopy over my basement walkout door here on the Cape. It’s a specialized, small-footprint project requiring precision framing (hand-selected PT 4x4s and a premium cedar tongue-and-groove ceiling deck capped with a standing seam metal roof). I have full material specifications and layout parameters ready to share. I am willing to pay by the hour or the job for a skilled carpenter to complete. Must have own tools. Job can be done part time. References required.
