Small, Traditional Japanese Doll from Tanakata, Kyoto; Glass Display Case Included; offered at $45 (cash). We bought this from tanakaya in Kyoto almost 30 years ago so we are the original owners.

14" x 10.5" x 9" (display case)

Figure measures about 10" tall. Tanakaya one of the oldest, if not the oldest traditional Japanese doll makers in Japan. So this is not a kitschy souvenir tourists buy at the airport.

The craftsmanship is first class. This would add a lovely Asian touch to any room. The tape you see on the case is just to hold it together because it disassembles.

Buyer pays cash and collects from us here on Falling Leaf Lane in Osterville just off Bumps River Road. Alternatively we can meet you at the Osterville Public Library if you prefer.
