These young spruce trees were rescued from being mowed down and carefully transplanted so they can continue growing into strong native evergreens.
Spruce trees are fast-growing coastal trees and perfect for:
β’ privacy hedges
β’ windbreaks
β’ property borders
β’ landscaping around homes
Healthy local seedlings grown in Massachusetts conditions and adapted to New England weather.
Plant 6β8 feet apart for a natural privacy hedge.
Spruce can also be trimmed and shaped into the form you prefer.
Typical growth rate: about 1β2 feet per year in good conditions.
