This is an original Brian Gilliam Design. Brian was the designer for Arthur Umanoff for nine years. Umanoff never allowed him to sign his work and Arthur took credit for all designs that came from his company. Raymond Loewy did the same to his design staff. Unfortunate, but true. Brian designed this custom steel table with beveled glass top with rounded corners, using the ‘Designer’s Symbols’ which are the circle, square and triangle. It has just been professionally sandblasted and shows the gray, base metal, steel color. We were thinking of having it chromed, but decided to leave it in its pure form. We had it painted white at one time, and it did look quite beautiful. There is a new product on the market which is a ‘Painted Chrome’, which is a two part, do it yourself process. We believe the paint
costs $130 and we were told it’s even better than what
a professional chrome co. could do. In excellent condition. The glass has just a few tiny scratches. No damage or repairs overall.
Weighs about 80 pounds. We can assist you in getting a shipping quote, if you are not able to pick up yourself.
OVERALL SIZE IN INCHES: 38 wide x 24 deep x 17.5 high. The glass top is 3/8” thick.
Cash, money orders or major credit cards are OK.
We are located in Barnstable Village, right off Route 6A.
