General Duties:
· Assist with daily responsibilities for the day-to-day managerial tasks to help keep a safer, cleaner, and professional restaurant.
· Build good rapport with FOH staff, always working towards creating a consistently positive culture.
· Effectively and efficiently manage the restaurant by following the best practices of the company to ensure guest satisfaction levels remain high.
· Onboarding and training of new service personnel and provide feedback regarding to the performance of their duties.
· Adhere to company cash handling policy.
· Run revenue reports at end of shift and receive all FOH staff sales reports.
· Maintain a consistently high level of employee morale and motivation.
· Exercise good judgement and decision making when trying to resolve escalating guest issues.
· Keep Ownership informed of pressing staff matters, personnel changes, equipment issues, changes in functionality of equipment, etc.
· Set-up and monitor staff performance protocols to ensure desired results are achieved.
· TEAM oriented, we all work together and respect one another.
· Ensure the environment in the restaurant supports our core values of respect, integrity, seeking knowledge, and having FUN!
Minimum Qualifications:
o High school diploma or equivalent required.
o Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree program in hospitality management preferred but not required.
o Minimum two years of working as a manager who was responsible for executing day to day operations in a restaurant.
o Minimum of five years with a position in a restaurant other than management, varied experience of different positions required.
Necessary Knowledge, Ability, and Skill:
· Ability to consistently deliver a high-quality standard of product with an emphasis on continued improvement.
· Ability to train, motivate, and supervise.
· Must be able to work holidays and weekends.
· Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
· Ability to read, comprehend, carry out instruction, etc.
· Basic knowledge of Point of Sale software.
