We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Infant Toddler Teacher Assistant to support early childhood education in a nurturing classroom environment. The ideal candidate will assist lead teachers in providing a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate setting for infants and toddlers. Duties
Assist with daily care routines including feeding, diapering, and nap times for infants and toddlers
Support classroom activities that promote social, emotional, and cognitive development
Help implement age-appropriate educational activities and play-based learning experiences
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom environment adhering to health and safety standards
Observe and document children's progress, behaviors, and developmental milestones
Collaborate with lead teachers to support individualized learning plans and behavioral management strategies
Engage with children in a nurturing manner to foster trust and emotional security
Support special needs children by applying inclusive teaching practices and accommodations as needed
Assist with classroom setup, materials preparation, and cleanup to ensure smooth daily operations
Experience
Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or babysitting roles is preferred
Knowledge of childhood development principles and early education best practices is advantageous
Experience with infants and toddlers, including caregiving or nannying, is highly desirable
Familiarity with classroom management techniques, behavior management strategies, and inclusive education approaches such as special education or working with children with disabilities is a plus
Certification in first aid or CPR is preferred but not required; willingness to obtain certification is expected
Previous experience in childcare settings demonstrating patience, adaptability, and strong communication skills will be highly valued
