We are looking for host families to support our international program at Cape Cod Academy. Students speak English and arriving from countries such as China, Brazil, Mexico, Germany, and more.
Hosting an international student is a wonderful, worldly experience for a family that expands their global perspective. A host family provides a home away from home for international students who are experiencing the exciting and formative times of high school. With your help, these students will receive the support, care, and guidance they need to achieve their goals while studying here at Cape Cod Academy.
Additionally, host families receive a monthly stipend.
No experience is needed, need to pass a criminal background check (we pay for it).
To host a student in your home we ask that you provide and consider the following:
Bedroom and desk for studying
Bathroom (shared is fine)
2 meals a day on school days, simple breakfast and standard dinner
3 meals a day on the weekends and holidays
Transportation to and from school
A safe, supportive home
Students have their own spending money
Temporary housing for the exchange student is available if you have planned vacations, etc.
