This sewing group meets every Wednesday of every month. The class is offered in the lower level of the Zion Museum. Bring your own project and machine. Sew whatever you would like. The class is led by a multi-talented seamstress who used to work for Priscilla Bridals in Boston. Even if you know nothing about sewing, Maureen will teach you the basics and have you putting together your project in no time. If you do know how to sew, Maureen will help you hone your skills. Types of sewing projects undertaken by class members have included apparel, pillows, curtains, drapes, cushions, quilts and pocketbooks. Sew from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. or 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. for $50 per month or sew from 9 a.m. to 4p.m. straight for $100 per month. Either way it breaks down to $4.16 per hour. What else can you do for $4.16 per hour? Classes are offered by the full month. This is money well spent..
