Pair of Lewmar Emsworth 2 speed chromed bronze winches, 840-4 series, base diameter 9-1/2", height 9", drum diameter 4-1/2. These were primary winches on a 54’ yawl handling various headsails with a 54’ hoist. Both of them function as they should. These require lewmar square drive winch handles which are not included. I have machined modern star drive handles to fit this style for myself, easy if you have a milling machine, or if you can be an artist with an angle grinder. Bolt pattern appears to be standard for at least older winches of same diameter, I replaced these with bronze self tailing ones into stainless bases.
