Needs carb cleaned and new ignition key -This 2001 clean engine had low use from the original owners who had it on a 13 ft whaler I bought from them. Recently I sold the 13' whaler without the engine and remote controls (was a center console model ) . It's been out of the water for at least 10 years. I've always turned the engine over periodically. I'm going to need to clean out the carburetor even though it was winterized long ago . I've started it with a 2-stroke mix shot down the carburetor. I already bought the carb kit and I'm going to put a new water pump and gear oil in it. I do Mercury and Mercruiser repair. It has great compression and no corrosion on the power head at all nor does it have corrosion on the trim/ tilt pump etc . It has remote controls with electric start and power trim and tilt - for a 20 inch transom- 2 stroke with oil injection - the remote control length were for a 13 foot whaler that had center steering ( '73 rare sour puss model - similar to a super sport) .
