Built by Bay of Maine Boats to the highest standard. The hull is hand laid fiberglass, with flotation sealed in bow and stern compartments. The gunwales and seats are solid teak. Oar locks and lifting rings are solid bronze. Her bottom is painted by the builder with Ceram_Kote for abrasion protection (not an anti-fouling paint as she has only been fresh water used). She has a towing eye and a canves/rubber gunwale guard bumper in the bow.
Although Bay of Maine Boats are no longer in business, they can be reached and a new boat of this design can be built for approximately $20,000. This boat is in like new condition and can be had for $4,900/Best Offer.
She can easily be carried in the bed of a pickup truck or in back of some SUV's. The trailer is not included in the price, though new trailers are east to obtain.
