Trek 8000 aluminum hard tail mountain bike. Spec'd out with mid to high end parts franken bike style. Currently setup as a 1x9, you could swap out/add chainrings on the truvativ crank and add a front derailleur, but as a 1x9 setup, your bottom bracket area has fantastic ground clearance over obstacles. Rear V-brake, front mechanical disc brake. The rims are a matched set; the rear wheel is also disk brake compatible, but there are no braze ons on the frame to install a rear brake caliper. The Rock shox brand front suspension is adjustable and has lockout capability. Aluminum frame. 26" wheels, probably at least 21" frame which fits my 6'3" body with 34" inseam. Definitely a clydestale. You could ride it if you are shorter, but you will be stretched out front to back and risk singing soprano if you are not careful. Some oxidation on some of the parts. Thank you salt air! You could pump up the tires and ride as is, but if you are OCD you will want to swap out both shifter cables and both brake cables and possibly the chain, but I would typically do that on any used bike I purchased no matter what the visual condition is. Might be a good idea to give it new tubes too while you are at it. $250. $250 CASH and its a done deal.
