For your consideration is an exceptionally rare boudoir safe complete with its original key. It has wonderful proportions with a nicely crafted cast iron base on four splayed feet. The facades are adorned with typical Victorian motifs with floral decorations on the door. The interior is beautifully finished likely in ash or chestnut with the drawer appearing to be of crotch walnut, hand dovetailed of course. Condition is good with some paint loss mostly to the top. It locks and unlocks flawlessly.
