Perfect as new. From 1987, original owner.
Felt liner, leather bottom.There is an engravable plaque under the lid.
The box is 6 3/16" wide, 4" deep, 2 5/8" to the lid
Lid is 5/8" high, so box overall is 3 1/4" high
The top panel (ship) is 4 1/2" wide x 2 3/16" high. Amazing detail (enlarge the photo)
Front and back are 4 1/2" wide, 1 1/4" high
Side panels are 2 3/16" wide, 1 1/4" high
Based on the fact that when I bought it in 1987 I paid $2,900 for it, in today's dollars that would be around $8,000. So if you are interested in a bid approaching this, let me know.
