We are a group of gay men on the cape who meet every Thursday night for a brief meeting and then go out to dinner. The purpose of our group is to network with other gay men on the cape and to socialize. We are a varied group of guys, ages,careers, relationship status, etc. As a group we participate in a number of activities such as dinner, potlucks, bbq's, hiking, kayaking, going to plays...
We are looking for other gay men, single or coupled, young or old to join our group and expand their social network.
We are not a therapy group, nor are we a hook up group, just a bunch of guys looking to make more friends.
We meet every Thursday at 7pm in the Gus Canty Rec Center in downtown Falmouth(route 28, across the street from the 7-11 and next to the police station. we meet on the second floor)

Writers Sought for Critique/Workshop Group on Outer Cape (Provincetown)

Our fiction/poetry weekly workshop is currently seeking two additional members. We meet every week and workshop material that has been sent out to group members the previous week via email. This entails a significant amount of work and therefore we are interested primarily in people willing to take on this commitment of time and effort on a consistent and year-round basis.

Our current members include published authors; two poets and a novelist, with memberships in the American Society of Journalists and Authors, the National Writers Union, and the Author�s Guild; one member is a past participant in the Iowa Poetry Workshop and holds a SLC master�s degree; another has five traditionally published novels and a short stories in a number of literary journals. We meet at each other�s homes in and around Provincetown on a rotating basis. Our current meeting day/time is Mondays at 5:30 pm, though that may be negotiable based on the group�s evolving needs.

A sense of humor and humility is mandatory, as is a keen sense of craft. Sorry: no Hallmark poets or Chicken Soup for the Soul memoirists.
