I understand that you paid $2500.00 for your butcher block pedestal round table with a leaf and 4 windsor STYLE chairs last year but that does not mean that it is worth $1500.00 now.And to be honest with you even if you had it listed for $300.00 or $400.00 i would not even contact you.Because in order for me to make any money i would have to sell it for $750.00 minimal after my rent,lights,heat ,ads and some kind of a profit.And i couldn't get that for it.
I would probably be willing to pay $200.00 and believe it or not i would not be running to get it.
If i had it in my store i would put $395.00 maybe $475.00 on it and somebody would offer me $300.00 and we would probably meet in the middle.
As far as upholstered furniture if it is worn has rips or tears, toss it.I have 7 sofas in my shop right now and they are all priced at $175.00 and they are all clean,cannot sell them any other way.
