Mother and Son Team
Welcome we are Cam and Janet Bowes, a mother and son team working to make a difference, racing to Save Lives:

Cam is a 16 year old honor student and a member of the cross country team at Sturgis Charter School, in Hyannis. His is also a Life Guard at Water Wizz, a water park on Cape Cod and I am his 46 year old mother; Janet, together we are raising funds for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS).

We are doing this to honor John H. Bowes, Cam's grandfather who past away four years ago from cancer. Please help a mother help her son honor his Grandfather and show him we all can make a difference in the lives of others just by giving. We are both truly humbled to be a part of this effort to help others. The stories we have heard and continue to hear are our inspiration to not give up and to keep going. You can help us, and we will be forever grateful to you.

We are training to participate in an endurance event as a member of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's (LLS) Team In Training. We will be running/walking in a marathon in January 2010. Our fund raising goal is $3,600 each. We truly need your help to make this happen.

The funds we are raising will help stop leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma from taking more lives, and to honor all individuals who are battling blood cancers. These people are the real heroes on our team, and we need your support to cross the ultimate finish line - a cure!
