The previous owner said it never gave him a hint of a problem. Next week I will have a dealer run a history and plug it in to the computer.

1986 Yamaha 40hp two stroke outboard with controls and cables that runs very good. The model is ETLK, it has power trim, oil injection and a 20" shaft. It has the Yamaha 703 controls with cables. The carb's and water pump were rebulit in the spring. The power trim does need work as it won't start to move unless you give it some help. The center pivot point is stiff to swivel and may need cleaning/grease.
