Beautifully maintained, like-new road bike for sale. Touring geometry means the ride is more relaxed than a racing bike, but she goes like nothing else! Always kept indoors, monthly tune-ups, no crashes. Minor use scrapes on the frame, but absolutely zero corrosion.

Made of tried and true Reynolds 520 double-butted chromium-molybdenum alloy steel, this is a bike that has the smooth ride and phenomenal durability of steel, from a premier manufacturer. The understated paintjob makes it an excellent commuter; dirt and grime isn't as visible, and bike thieves won't be an issue. But don't think "Touring" means slow! She fits in perfectly with club riders, except you can enjoy not just the speed but also the scenery. It honestly doesn't get much more comfortable and low maintenance than this.

A 57cm frame is great for a slightly taller or longer legged rider, about 6' or a 34" inseam.

This is a nice, but not great, Schwin that we bought about 2 or 3 years ago. Sadly, it spent a week outside and has developed some good rust on the drivetrain.

It can be ridden without any work but it really does need some TLC. I don't know if parts need to be de-rusted or just adjusted, or replaced.

Here's what I know.

The front shifter works but is balky, it shifts between 2 of the 3 front rings.

Same for the rear shifter, it shifts on perhaps 3 of the 7 rings.

I'm guess that these need adjustment, but with the rust, I don't know what is frozen or what turns.

The front brakes are fine, the rears are NOT WORKING. Yes, they'll close and grab the tire but they will not release.

The front suspension seems to work fine.

The chain is rusty but works fine.

I believe the rims are alloy rims, not steel.

It fits a women about 5' 7" or smaller.

It is $50 today, June 8th, $49 on June 9, $48 on June 10th until it gets posted on the free section 50 days from now.
